An American Girl in Washington

It’s odd but some of the most evocative, heartrending and beautiful art prints come out during times of crisis.  Well… maybe it’s not so odd.  Some of my favorite works have been produced during some of the worst tragedies, partly because they are so meaningful and partly because I love that even in the most cynical of times, everyone stops and uses their talent to help a neighbor.  With that in mind, here are some of my favorite prints for Japan:

Help Japan

$21.98, all proceeds go to disaster recovery.

Tokyo City Print

$20, proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders

$20, proceeds go to Canadian Red Cross

$35, $25 of which goes to the International Red Cross

Donate at least $25, proceeds go to the Red Cross.

Remember - print (Japan Tsunami Relief)

$16, all proceeds go to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Fund.

Japan Tsunami Aid (paper cranes or cherry blossom heart)

$18, proceeds go to the American Red Cross.

$29.99, all proceeds donated to disaster relief.  Thanks Daniel!

Those are my favorite for now.  I’ll keep updating as I find more that move me.

Great collection and I couldn’t agree more about the art that surrounds us during a time like this. Love the first one you posted but this is my favorite:

I love that one! Thanks for the addition, I’m so impressed with all of the art that has come out so far!
